Frequently Asked Questions....
Since we've opened, we've heard it all. Before you call the studio to ask a question, please take a moment to review our FAQ's below. Most of your questions will probably be answered. Thanks!
What is a Cheers to Art painting session like?
We offer "art as entertainment," in a relaxed, stress-free group setting. Absolutely NO experience is necessary to have a great time. Our instructor will guide our guests through that night’s featured painting with simple, step-by-step instructions. So whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes. Our sessions are frequently sold out, and we do our best to assign seats based on reservations. We request that you make a reservation in advance. Just click on our Calendar
and choose the session you’d like to attend.
If I come with a friend or a group of friends, can we all sit together?
Yes. We do our best to seat friends and parties together or near one another… just be sure to let us know when making your reservation.
What is the cost of a normal Cheers to Art session?
The price ranges between $25-$35 depending on the age, session, and day of the week.
What is included in the price?
We provide everything you’ll need – 16"x20" pre-stretched canvas, paint, brushes, easels, and apron.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 48 hour notice
if you need to cancel your reservation for any reason and all cancellations must be made by phone 513.271.2793. No refunds for no-shows or for anyone that does not observe this cancellation policy, With proper notification, we are happy to reschedule your reservation toward another session or refund your money. Thank you in advance for your respect of our cancellation policy.
Cheers to Art reserves the right to cancel a painting session at any time due to attendance, weather, sickness, etc. If we decide to cancel a session, every attempt will be made to notify our guests by phone or email. If you paid online, you will be given the option of rescheduling your session or a refund will be made. Thank you for your understanding.
What time do I need to arrive for a session?
We request that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your session. This allows you time to sign in, grab a beverage, smock-up and prepare for the fun! Sessions run between 1.5—2 hours. Late arrivals are disruptive to the entire studio and you may be asked to reschedule for another session.
Do you have a bar?
Yes. We offer a nice selection of beer and wine for purchase. You must be 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages in the State of Ohio, and we will check I.D’s.
Can I b.y.o.b.?
No. B.Y.O.B. is ILLEGAL in the State of Ohio. Although some states allow it, here in Ohio, under Ohio State Law (Ohio Rev. Code 4301.62) it is a violation of Ohio's "open container" laws and those participating are subject to arrest. So, with that said, we are protecting you, our loyal customers, and avoiding a huge liability issue on our end. We want our customers to have fun and not have to worry about getting arrested. Cheers!
Do I have to paint the featured painting of the night?
Although we encourage it, our guests are welcome to paint whatever they want during any of our sessions. Most people sign up to paint the instructed painting, so if you are painting on your own, please be courteous to those around you as well as the instructor. No instruction will be provided.
What do I wear?
Acrylic paints are NOT clothes friendly, so please dress appropriately. We provide aprons, and our paints
are non-toxic, but we cannot be responsible for any articles ruined by paint, including clothes, hand bags, etc.
Can I bring my child to an evening session?
No. Our evening sessions are for adults.
How old should a child be to attend a kids and canvas session?
That certainly depends on the child and the maturity level. We’ve had children as young as 4 paint with us, but parents must accompany the child at all times.
